Summary of the final episode
The protagonist, Doraku, has chased his dream as a rakugoka (a rakugo storyteller). In the final chapter, Doraku faces his final rakugo showdown with the person who is both his master and his rival. He shows rakugo with his love and passion and magnificently grabs victory. The story concludes with Doraku becoming the best rakugoka and fulfilling his dream.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter was truly moving, as it had the best possible ending: Doraku becoming the best rakugoka and fulfilling his dream. Since I had been watching his setbacks and struggles for a long time, I was genuinely happy about his success. I think it was a wonderful work that taught me about human warmth and passion for one’s job through the theme of rakugo.
