最終回は、吾郎がメジャーリーグの頂点に立ち、そして引退するという、彼の人生の集大成を見せてもらえて、本当に感動しました。彼の挫折や苦悩をずっと見てきたので、彼の成功が心から嬉しかったです。彼の野球への情熱が、彼の人生を切り開いていったのだと改めて感じました。最高の最終回で、読後感も最高でした。

Summary of the final episode
The protagonist, Goro Shigeno, has overcome various difficulties as a baseball player and has aimed for the top of the Major Leagues. In the final chapter, Goro faces his rival, Gibson Jr., in the World Series of the Major Leagues. Goro, despite being worn out from injuries, holds Gibson Jr. in check and leads his team to victory. The story tells of Goro’s success in the Major Leagues and how he had a great impact on the Japanese baseball world. After that, Goro retires and is depicted enjoying baseball with his old friends on a Japanese amateur baseball team.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter was truly moving, as it showed the culmination of Goro’s life, with him reaching the top of the Major Leagues and then retiring. Since I had been watching his setbacks and struggles for a long time, I was genuinely happy about his success. I felt again that his passion for baseball was what carved out his life. It was the best final chapter, and I felt great after reading it.
