最終回は、絶望的な状況の中にも、わずかな希望を見出す姿に心を揺さぶられました。荒廃した世界での二人の孤独な旅路は、読むのが辛いほどでしたが、それでも生き抜こうとする彼らの姿に、人間の強さを感じました。明確なハッピーエンドではありませんでしたが、だからこそ心に深く残る結末でした。災害という圧倒的な脅威の前で、人間はどのように生きるべきか、という重いテーマを投げかけられたような気がします。

Summary of the final episode
The protagonists, Teru and Ako, overcome a series of disasters and finally decide to return to the surface. However, the surface world is in ruins, and human society has collapsed. Teru and Ako continue to wander, searching for hope. The final chapter depicts them finding signs of new life in the place they finally arrive. Teru, with a strong will to “live,” takes a new step forward with Ako. The story concludes by depicting the end of the world but also the slight hope that remains within it and the strength of human vitality. In the end, a scene where Ako shows Teru the hallucination of a “dragon’s head” is depicted, hinting that the trauma of the disaster is deeply etched in their hearts, and the story ends.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter moved me with the sight of the characters finding a small amount of hope even in a desperate situation. The lonely journey of the two in the ruined world was so painful to read, but I felt the strength of humanity in their struggle to survive. It was not a clear happy ending, but that’s what made it so memorable. I felt as if the story posed the heavy question of how humans should live in the face of an overwhelming threat like a disaster.
