主人公の石田将也は、過去に聴覚障害を持つ少女・西宮硝子をいじめてしまったことを後悔し、彼女と再会します。二人は、過去の過ちを乗り越え、互いの心を通わせていきます。最終回では、将也が自身の人生をやり直すため、そして硝子を支えるため、再び立ち上がる様子が描かれます。彼は、硝子の友人たちや家族と向き合い、和解します。物語は、将也が硝子との関係を築き、そして過去の自分と決別し、前向きに生きていくことを決意する姿で幕を閉じます。
感想・レビュー
最終回は、将也くんが過去の自分と向き合い、成長していく姿に、感動しました。いじめる側といじめられる側、それぞれの心の葛藤が丁寧に描かれていて、深く考えさせられました。明確なハッピーエンドではありませんでしたが、二人がお互いを支え合い、生きていくという結末に、希望を感じました。

Summary of the final episode
The protagonist, Shoya Ishida, regrets bullying a girl with a hearing impairment, Shoko Nishimiya, in the past and reunites with her. The two overcome their past mistakes and connect with each other. The final chapter depicts Shoya getting up again to restart his own life and support Shoko. He confronts and reconciles with Shoko’s friends and family. The story concludes with Shoya building a relationship with Shoko, breaking with his past self, and deciding to live his life positively.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter moved me with the sight of Shoya confronting his past self and growing. The internal conflicts of both the bully and the bullied were carefully depicted, which made me think deeply. Although it was not a clear happy ending, I felt hope in the conclusion, where the two support each other and live on.
