究極の「謎」を求める魔人・脳噛ネウロと、彼の助手となった女子高生・弥子。最終回では、人類の前に立ちはだかる最大の敵、シックスとの最終決戦が描かれます。ネウロは、シックスの存在を打ち破るために、自身の力を最大限に引き出します。シックスは、人類の負の感情を糧にする怪物でしたが、ネウロは彼の「謎」を解き明かし、彼を消滅させることに成功します。物語は、ネウロが魔界へ帰ることを決意し、弥子との別れが描かれます。ネウロは、弥子との出会いを通して、人間という存在の「謎」を理解し、満足して魔界へと戻っていきます。そして、弥子は一人、探偵として歩み始めることになります。
感想・レビュー
最終回は、ネウロと弥子との別れが、とても切なかったです。二人の関係は、主従関係でありながら、お互いを尊重し、支え合ってきたので、その別れは胸が締め付けられました。ただ、ネウロが満足して魔界へ帰っていったこと、そして弥子が一人前の探偵として成長した姿に、安堵と感動を覚えました。この作品らしい、深い「謎」に満ちた、素晴らしい最終回だったと思います。

The final episode of Neuro: Supernatural Detective
Summary of the final episode
Neuro, a demon who seeks the ultimate “mystery,” and Yako, a high school girl who becomes his assistant. In the final chapter, they face off against Six, humanity’s greatest enemy. Neuro maximizes his power to defeat Six’s existence. Six was a monster that fed on humanity’s negative emotions, but Neuro solved his “mystery” and successfully made him disappear. The story concludes with Neuro deciding to return to the demon world and saying goodbye to Yako. Through his encounter with Yako, Neuro understands the “mystery” of human existence and returns to the demon world, satisfied. Yako then begins her journey as a detective on her own.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter was very sad because of the farewell between Neuro and Yako. Even though their relationship was a master-servant one, they respected and supported each other, so their parting was heartbreaking. However, I felt relieved and moved by the fact that Neuro returned to the demon world satisfied and that Yako had grown into a full-fledged detective. I think it was a wonderful final chapter that was full of deep “mysteries,” which was very fitting for this work.
