主人公の夜神月は、デスノートを使い、新世界の神「キラ」として、犯罪者を裁いてきました。しかし、彼の前に、Lの意思を継いだ探偵ニアが立ちはだかります。最終回では、月とニアの最後の対決が描かれます。ニアは、月の策略を全て見抜き、月がキラであることを暴きます。追い詰められた月は、デスノートを使い、ニアを殺そうとしますが、失敗に終わります。物語は、月が自らの野望が破れたことを悟り、絶望の中で息絶える姿で幕を閉じます。そして、彼の死後、世界は再び平穏を取り戻します。
感想・レビュー
最終回は、月の完璧な計画が崩れ去り、絶望的な結末を迎えることに衝撃を受けました。特に、月が最後にリュークに名前を書かれるシーンは、彼の傲慢さの末路を感じさせ、恐ろしかったです。単なる推理漫画ではなく、人間の正義と悪、そして傲慢さについて深く考えさせられる、見事な結末だったと思います。

Summary of the final episode
The protagonist, Light Yagami, has used the Death Note to judge criminals as “Kira,” the god of the new world. However, he is confronted by Near, a detective who inherits L’s will. The final chapter depicts the final showdown between Light and Near. Near sees through all of Light’s schemes and exposes him as Kira. Cornered, Light tries to use the Death Note to kill Near but fails. The story concludes with Light realizing that his ambitions have been shattered and dying in despair. After his death, the world returns to peace.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter was shocking, as Light’s perfect plan collapsed, leading to a desperate ending. In particular, the scene where Ryuk writes his name at the end made me feel the end of his arrogance, which was terrifying. I think it was a magnificent conclusion that made me think deeply about human justice, evil, and arrogance, not just a simple mystery manga.
