Summary of the final episode
The story of the protagonist Shuji and Chise, a girl who has been transformed into a final weapon, is a sad and intense one. In the final chapter, Chise becomes the last final weapon for humanity and the one who destroys everything on Earth. Even though he understands that Chise is no longer human, Shuji decides to stick with her until the very end, staying true to his love for her. At the end of the story, Chise apologizes to Shuji and then destroys Earth. All that remains on Earth is Shuji, who has lost his memory. He lives a lonely life in the ruins of the world, with his memories of Chise in his heart. The story concludes by deeply depicting love, despair, and the tragedy of war.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter was so sad that it hurt my heart. I couldn’t stop crying when I read about Chise destroying the world as the final weapon and Shuji being the only one left. Still, I felt a sense of salvation in the fact that the two loved each other until the very end. It’s an unforgettable final chapter that makes you think deeply about the despair that war brings and the transience of human love.
