Summary of the final episode
The protagonist, Keisuke Agatsuma, has been chasing his dream of becoming a comedian with his comedy duo partner Tsujimoto in “Kiso-ba AT.” In the final chapter, Kiso-ba AT competes in the final of the national comedy competition “NMC.” They give their all in their final performance with their past setbacks, efforts, and trust in each other in their hearts. Agatsuma maximizes his “storytelling” talent and envelops the audience in a whirlwind of laughter. Their manzai impresses the judges and the audience, and they successfully win the championship. The story concludes by suggesting that Kiso-ba AT, having won the championship, will go on to have a successful career in the comedy world.
Review of the final episode
The final chapter was very moving, as Kiso-ba AT had the best possible ending by winning the championship. In particular, my heart was warmed by the sight of Agatsuma and Tsujimoto performing their manzai with complete trust in each other. Thinking about all the hardships and setbacks they had experienced, their victory made me especially happy. The story carefully depicted the difficulty of chasing a dream and the preciousness of friendship through the theme of manzai, which left a deep impression on me even after I finished reading.
